Die Northrop P-61 Black Widow war das erste Kampfflugzeug der USAAF, das eigens für die Nachtjagd entwickelt wurde.
Sie sieht schwarz und bedrohlich aus, ist aber gutmütig zu fliegen. Das qualitativ hochwertige und weitgehenst vorgefertigte Modell lässt sich sehr schnell fertigstellen und überzeugt durch sein forbildgetreues Aussehen.
Die beiden Seitenruder arbeiten so effizient, daß selbst der Ausfall eines Motors komplett kompensiert werden kann. Sie ist also das ideale Modell für den Einstieg in die mehrmotorige Fliegerei.
Die Motorisierung des Modells von Advanced Scale Models und RIPMAX kann sowohl mit Verbrennermotoren, wie auch mit Elektromotoren erfolgen.
Ausgerüstet mit einem optional erhältliches pneumatisches Einziehfahrwerk ist man mit der P-61 bei einem Scale Wettbewerb nicht fehl am Platz. Best Nr.: ASM-ARS03

Add two .52 size four strokes and you have the ideal model to be a first twin. Those twin rudders are effective and even one engine out can be effectively countered. We know, we've tried! With the optional retracts and oleo legs, the Black Widow would not be out of place in a scale competition. Be prepared for envious clubmates!
